Mutares SE & Co. KGaA, Munich (www.mutares.com), acquires medium-sized companies and parts of groups with headquarter in Europe that are being sold in the course of a repositioning process at their owners and show a clear potential for operational improvement. Mutares actively supports and develops its portfolio companies with its own investment and consulting teams as well as through acquisitions of strategic add-ons. Our goal is to acquire companies with a turnover of EUR 50 to 500 million. The aim is to achieve a clear value increase with a focus on sustainable, long-term growth of the portfolio company.
For one of our portfolio companies we are looking for a Project Manager in Asia/China (m/f/d) as soon as possible.
The Job incumbent leads customer development projects from acquisition until product launch (project request approval until project closure). You lead a project team and ensure that the defined objectives in terms of acquisition hit rate and project targets for quality, cost and timing are achieved. The Project Manager assumes responsibilities within the product development process.
Your Tasks
- Lead customer development projects from acquisistion to product launch phase considering technical and commercial aspects
- Plan, structure and coordinate all project related activities of a crossfunctional team in accordance with the Development process to ensure the achievement of quality, timing and commercial targets
- Ensure the achievement of quality requirements by initialing and coordinating all required activities (risk analysis, feasibility, product assurance plan)
- Project budget, timing and profitability responsiblity:
Plan, track and analyze; Initiate corrective actions and/or escalate in case of deviations
- Maintain all PM relevant (master) data and CIM Database to ensure that all information and PM relevant documentation is available and up-to-date
Your Profile
- Successfully completed commercial-technical studies (industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, plastics technology or similar) or comparable training with focus on sales
- At least 3 -5 years of relevant work experience
- Analytical and conceptual skills combinded with entrepreneurial thinking
- Business fluent in English
- Very good MS Office skills
