Mutares actively support its portfolio companies with its own investment and consulting teams and through strategic add-on acquisitions. The focus is on companies with revenues of EUR 100 million to EUR 750 million from the following segments: Automotive & Mobility, Engineering & Technology, Goods & Services and Retail & Food. The aim is to achieve a clear value increase with a focus on sustainable, long-term growth of the portfolio company.

Within our OPS team, we are looking to hire a leader who has a successful track record in IT with a continuous improvement attitude and an entrepreneurial mindset. This role will be located at portfolio companies, on site across Europe.

Your Tasks

As an integral part of the IT-practice within the Mutares Consulting branch, you will support the team with regards to:

• Lead the IT carve out projects, work and support the local team and portfolio company
• Support M&A Team by conducting IT Due Diligences and support in IT related consultancy
• Analysis of portfolio companies data structure, processes and tools, as well as the development of digital target pictures and  monitoring of the implementation process
• Involve in IT budgeting planning process of portfolio companies and align with CRO / Head of local IT
• Co-develop IT Audit framework and conduct annual IT Audits and at portfolio companies

Your Profile

• Completed university study in the area of computer science, economical computer science or similar technical studies
• Advanced work experience in a corporate IT, IT consulting or other IT related function
• Experience in at least 3 of the following domains: ERP, IT Architecture, Client / App Management, IT Infrastructure, IT Operations, IT Migration, IT Service Management, with ERP / SAP strongly preferred
• Certification in PMI, ITIL, SAP, Microsoft 365 or similar preferred
•  Willingness to travel up to 80% of the week and fluency in Chinese and English (written and spoken)
